PENDING SCCM Client update - how it works

Hi all

i have one question. Now I update SCCM to 1806.
So on some computers was created task and this task failed.
But task was automaticly deleted.
Client was not updated.
So how now client update was going on this computers?

Configuration Manager Client Upgrade Task should be seen on computers where the client agent version is older than the recent one. Did you examine why was the task failed ?. If the scheduled task misses its deadline (or an error occurs), it will retry every 5 hours until the task completes. Note that the task will get deleted automatically once the client upgrade is done.
