NEW SCCM Application Updates

Good afternoon,

I have had SCCM up and running deploying various applications in my task sequence to image workstations. What do you feel is the best way to update the application in the task sequence? For example I want to update the 7-Zip, Adobe Reader, Firefox, Google Chrome, VMware Horizon client, etc to the latest release. Do you typically create a new application and just put in a difference Software Version, then update the Task Sequence?

NOTE: I do have a software package that updates the 3rd party software but would like to update the base apps of the images as well.

Hi @jbackes and @Garth can you please share? Did you purchased 3rd party tool to update those application or there is a way send updates to 3rd party application? For example- My Current company running Cisco, Java, Teams, Google, 7zip, adobe etc.. application in their software center. How do i send latest updates to client software center? i checked online and i able to see only i can do that by using Patch My PC subscription.
