PENDING SCCM Application Deployment Past due - will be installed

Hi
We have a few applications that have successfully installed on the target pc but show as "past due - will be installed" in the software center. Does anyone know what causes this to happen and how to fix it?

Please check and make sure the hard drive is not full. Also, cleaning the cache in configuration manager helps
