I recently upgraded to 2111 which required me to configure HTTPS only communication. Since the config my client will not install the latest client and thus all my deployments are say doing nothing. I mention the https config change but i have confirmed clients and server are communicating and accepting the certs etc. Can anyone point me in the direction on what logs i should be checking for the client install? This im sure will point me in the direction of the problem. Once the clients upgrade i can then trouble shoot any issues with the deployments. any help appreciated :)

Can you check if the clients are communicating with MP without any errors and also check the status in the console?.

This is what i can see in the Event Viewer:

Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8024200B: Configuration Manager Client (5.00.9068.1012).

Hi, I'm getting access denied when i enter http://<ServerName.FQDN>/sms_mp/.sms_aut?mplist
from a client.

The console has a couple of MP error:
Severity Type Site code Date / Time System Component Message ID Description
Warning Milestone WTC 11/02/2022 12:48:22 SCSQL.WYVERN.INTERNAL SMS_MP_CONTROL_MANAGER 5447 MP has rejected a message from GUID:2C02451A-8745-4C9C-858B-8BC77D4A6103 because the signature could not be validated. If this is a valid client, it will attempt to re-register automatically so its signature can be correctly validated.
