Hi all,

has anybody upgrade their SCCM 2012 environment to SCCM 2016. Please could be so kind to send me a link that I can follow or maybe advise on the steps to follow? Do I need to upgrade my OS and SQL as well, or can I go go directly to SCCM 2016?

My current environment is :
1x Management Point - Server 2012 R2, SQL 2012 and SCCM 2012 CB (v1702)
5x Distribution Points - Server 2012 R2

Thanks

Thank you Prajwal. Do you suggest upgrading my OS and SQL to 2016 all at one go, or rather just do SCCM only?

I would suggest to keep the server OS as 2012 R2, I find it stable OS than windows server 2016. For SQL version you must upgrade to the version that is listed in the supported SQL versions link. SQL 2016 should be the best one as I see lot of performance improvements in this version.
