Hello

I recently started using SCCM to help myself move forward in my career with my employer. I have ran into an issue that I've been troubleshooting for about a week that I can not figure out. The task sequence fails every time at the same point after logging into the task sequence. Error code 0x80004005. I am running SCCM 2012 R2 and server 2012 R2. I have searched every place where the smsts logs would be however I can not find them. I've verified my time is correct on system board and with NT time authority. I rebuilt the task sequence dozens of times using MDt 2013 and also SCCM task sequence. I've uninstalled and reinstalled ADK 8.1. I'm at a loss. I have also removed and reinstall sccm. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

removing ADK and reinstalling SCCM, this was not required. Is this a virtual setup or sccm running on physical server ?. Have you tried deploying the TS to multiple computers ?. Is it the same error on all computers ?. Upload the smsts.log file.

I have a very similar problem, in a similar situation as well. I was able to apply the image to an older laptop with no problems.
The laptop I am having the problems with, seems to be missing drivers in the boot image and I believe that it can't write to the hard drive after partitioning the disk. I may be way off, but Prajwal is right, you should try another computer.

UPDATE: I was able to resolve this issue by using the proper WinPE drivers for the Intel hard drive controller.
Specifically, I used the drivers from the HP WinPE 10.0 driver pack for the Intel SCSI controller and HDC. Once the Hard Drive drivers were in the boot image, I got no more errors and it was able to copy the WinPE image to the hard drive and continue on with the Task Sequence.
