Hello Everyone,

I’m currently having a problem deploying computers using our SCCM 2007.

This morning, I added a mass storage driver to our .boot file since a new model was not crashing after a reboot. This is usually caused by a missing .inf file in the boot image.

I took a copy of the .boot file before doing this.

After injecting the boot file with the new driver, I replaced the boot file on the distribution point. However, after doing this, both old computers and the new model cannot deploy.

I have tried to revert back to the old .boot file and I’m now receiving this error message.

Error in the log file - Failed to install boot sector. ?? failed (1) stdout: This tool can only be run on systems booted using a PC/AT BIOS. This system was booted using EFI or some other firmware type. stderr:

The boot image might be corrupted. So you could probably create a new one and try ?.
