Upgraded to sccm 1702 about a month before.
All of sudden sccm admin accounts lost access on console.

Able to view devices, Apps, images, task sequences but not able to delete, create or modify any objects.

Logged on to sccm server or any workstation with sccm admin accounts doesn't have any permissions in console. Have full access in sql database but not in sccm console.

Sscm Console connect to site database without any issues. Not in read only mode.

Hman.log or ccmexec or dbmon doesn't show any relevant errors.

Tried reseting site and also restore from full site backup without any luck.

Need help

Hello,

Administrators use the System Center Configuration Manager console to manage the Configuration Manager environment. Each Configuration Manager console can connect to a central administration site or to a primary site. You cannot connect a Configuration Manager console to a secondary site.

SCCM 1702 includes lots of new features and enhancements in Operating system deployment, Software Updates, application management and Mobile device deployment.

Thanks.

An upgrade cannot be the reason for this. Could you attach hman.log ?. Was the upgrade completed successfully ?. I don't understand why you did a site reset + restore if from back up. A lot of troubleshooting steps could have been tried.
