Greetings,

The person with knowledge of our SQL DB SA user account left with not much notice. I have SYSADMIN level access to the DB and can log into the DB.

Our SQL DB had a problem recently, it's now fixed, but another tech here may have changed the existing SA user password to something else.

When I just attempted to upgrade Configuration Manager to v1902, it told me that it could not connect to the SQL side of the yard, and failed to finish. Question is, where do I provide the new SQL SA user password to the configuration Manager console?

I will keep looking. Thanks.

You don't. Your account must have SA for upgrades. The SCCM server should already have SA rights along with Administrator rights on SQL server.

Thanks. By going through the thousands of log entries on the Admin update screens, I saw that one server was pending a restart. Did that, then the next day, the other one was waiting for a restart, did that. After multiple restarts of the update install, I'm finally up to level 1902.
