PENDING Report Before Updates Applied

Hello,

I'm wondering if it's feasible to send out a report of patches that will be installed in an Automatic Deployment Group before deployment?

I have an ADR - Patch Tuesday - that I want to push into a test device collection - Test Group A - before I push into the production environment. Test Group A is in the Dev environment and I want a report that states which patches will be installed so they can have a heads up as to what could have broken the home brewed applications in that Dev environment.

Is this possible?

Sure it is possible you will need to setup SSRS automated subscriptions of the builtin reports. The trick is that is might not be piratical. Instead I would have the end user look up their computer to see what SU are going to be applied. Compliance 5 - Specific computer should do the trick.
