So heres the low down. Our PXE task sequence kept failing stating it could not find the Configuration Client Package. I tried update content and redistribute but it still failed so I decided to remove the package and re-deploy it. I went to content status selected the package and removed from all DPs. Unfortunately, We had deployed the Client package to a DP group that all the DPs are in so now the DP group still sees the package as being successfully deployed but none of the DPs have the package and If I try to distribute content to the individual DPs as soon as I try re-deploying it is immediately removed. This is what the Distmgr.log file shows for all the Dps.
Successfully removed the package ALT00002 from server xxxxx.
Also if I view the DP Group Content it shows the Configuration Manager Client Package, but the remove option is greyed out.
I have a ticket open with Microsoft but cant get a tech available until Tues.
Any thoughts? It like it in a catch 22 loop or something. Thanks for any suggestions!
