Hello,

We recently processed the 2309 upgrade as well as the latest hotfix. Since then, our remote console sessions will state not responding for up to 30 seconds at a time. This typically occurs when we navigate away from the console for a bit and then go back into the already active session. A site reset has been performed but the issue has persisted. I am solely responsible for our SCCM instance and unfortunately, I have had to utilize a learn as you go approach. Any assistance in pointing me in the right direction for troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.

Prajwal,
See below for SCCM version info and server OS info. Additionally, we are utilizing ADK 10.1.19041.1. We are only running W10 in our environment.

It looks good to me, as I see the console is updated. How about the console version on the remote computer, is it updated too?. Also, you can ping the ConfigMgr server IP/ name with the -t switch from the remote computer to see if there are any packets lost.

I will try this suggestion to see if there any interruptions with the connection. The remote console version matches the image I provided above.

Prajwal,

I had to allow about 10-15 minutes to pass for the console to lockup. I had minimized the console and then upon resuming it did not fully resume correctly. The image was shrunk and distorted although the borders of the window restored the way they should. The console then stated not responding and subsequently took about 20 seconds to come to life. Additionally, I ran the continuous ping as requested and did not see anything abnormal throughout the entire duration. Highest response time was 16ms with 98% of the time being 1-2ms.

Any chance if your network team can look into this issue?. I can't really tell if this issue is related to ConfigMgr.

Prajwal,

Our network team more than likely won't invest the resources into investigating unless there is something to indicate that there is the possibility of a network related issue. I have tried with 2 separate devices, one with the latest OS patches and one a month behind but the behavior is the same and nothing is logged for the console hanging. It also never full crashes.
