Hello Team,
hope all is well!

After upgrading to CM 2309, i see this error in hman.log:
CSql Error: Cannot find data for connection type: , cannot get a connection
I started SMS_EXECUTIVE service, it starts and then reviewing it, it is stopped. Also i see the above error every 10 minutes or so. I have connectivity to the SQL server (it's on the same server, it is a test lab), the account used is a member of the local admin group. please advise

Exactly what account are you talking about? Is SQL healthy? Exactly what troubleshooting have you done?

the one used to build the server, installed SCCM, SQL. I believe SQL is healthy. What troubleshooting I have done? view logs, cleared up 2 of the prereq warnings (remove the network access account, move the co-mgmt slider to Intune). i will remove co-mgmt and see if that helps. reviewed smsexec.log (no errors), sitecomp.log (see attached pic), and hman.log where i saw the error. also attached pic of 2309 upgrade status

You log says that it can't start the service. Did you review the event viewer or manually try to start the service?

hello Garth, thx for the response. Yes, i saw that, started the service and it stops shortly after. i reviewed the application log in event view and see this:
faulting application name: smsexec.exe, version: 5.0.9122.00 @ every 20 - 30 minutes, sensing it is retrying.

That doesn't give us any meaningful details. You will need to dig deeper.
