Hi there, I really need help in figuring this out. I recently upgraded my SCCM to SCCM 2012 SP2 ver 5.8239.1000 in order to introduce Windows 10 Enterprise ( anniversary version). no issues during upgrade.

When I bring a Windows 10 Image from syspreping. I notice the following

1 - SCCM detects the OS as Windows 10 Enterprise 10.0 instead of Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 10.0.

2- Then the after a day or two it would change to Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 10.0. and the client would get installed and the definition files get updated in defender.

I have researched this and could not find any similar issues anywhere. hopefully someone can guide me in searching a solution for this. Thanks in advanced

UPDATE: I Initialized a new PC yesterday at 12:21 PM ant it took about 6 hrs to get the client installed on the windows 10. this does not happen on the windows 8 PCs

checked SCCM the OS name had changed to Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 10.0. I checked the client.MSi.log logs and the activity started at 19:06:59

Solution from MS not tested yet because update software is not available to me at this time.

Per the Microsofts Tech, my System Center 2012 Config Mgr SP2 version 5.00.8239.1000 is not 100% compatible with Windows 10 Ent.
The solution is to install System Center config mgr build 1511 version 5.00.8325.1000

Hopefully this helps another lost soul. cheers!
