Hello all,

got a Problem, and i dont know whats causing it, is it the Proxy Server, SCCM, SUP or something else.....
But now from the beginning. Last Weekend i discovered that some Servers and some Clients dont get updates thrugh the Clientmanager. If i go to Windows Updates klick on "check for Updates"
this comes up:

In english; we couldnt esatblish a connection with the Updateservice.
But that shoulb be still possible with SUP or am i wrong?

If i got a Answer on this, i will continue with the next discoverys and questions.
Thank you all

Frist of all, establish that the client can reach the SUP and try telnet over port 8005 (this is the default port).

it can´t.
But what i didnt mentioned by now, the most server and clients get the updates by the sup.
Its only my and a few other PC´s and four servers that cant get them.
The telnet connection wont work on either of them.

We played a little bit with DNS and and Reverse DNS in our Sophos UTM, now the Error changed:

OK think i found the Problem.
"netsh winhttp show proxy" shows me a other result, that it should be. local should be a exception.
"netsh winhttp import proxy source =ie" imports the right config with local exception, and it works.
