I've been trying to install this hotfix for a few days now.

The error message suggests that there are permission problems, but when I run the command under powershell - everything works?!

I carried out a pre-check successfully 3 weeks ago and now it hangs when extracting the update package!?

I have already reset the update twice so that it is reloaded, without success.

I then manually integrated and executed KB26129847 (which is actually included in KB25858444), this worked without any problems?

I'm desperate, does anyone have an idea?

Solution
OK, solved. CS disabled and everything works fine.

info from crowdstrike, is a bug in 7.12 that is also in 7.13... probably fixed in the next version. Otherwise you should at least enter the exceptions, then it will work even with bugs :)

There's actually more, it's documented at MS.

So now have fun and have a nice weekend

I have just deactivated the crowdstrike, now the pretest is running - I will try the installation on Friday...

actually seems to be a problem since version 7.12.18207.0...

OK, I'll report, but I think that's the solution

we also created a ticket on crowdstrike
