Good Day All
I recently upgraded from CB1902 to CB2002 (and all hotfixes are installed)
Since then the site experiences 2 failures
1 - SCCM client does not want to install on the Primary server
2 - I am unable to change the workloads in "Co-Management" – will handle this in a separate thread
1)On upgrading the SCCM server I initially had a failure with the MP
I uninstalled the client (CCMSETUP.EXE /Uninstall)and removed the MP Role – rebooted the server
I also deleted the following files(only after the second time that I tried to re-install the client) from C:\Windows
Smscfg
SMSAdvancedClient.configmgr1902-client-kb4500571-x64.mif
Added the MP Role again and got a 200OK from the MPcontrol.log
Then tried installing the client – on several occasions
I also re-installed C++ 2013 components as the ccm log file error indicated that C++ must be reinstalled (did a reboot after that installation as well)
I am getting the following errors in:
CCMREPAIR.LOG:
“Failed to verify if the product is MP or Client. Error code 0x80070645.”
Client.msi.log
Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Configuration Manager Client. Product Version: 5.00.8968.1000. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation. Installation success or error status: 1603.
CCMSetup.log (this refers to C++ components)
File C:\Windows\ccmsetup\{E6F27809-FF66-4BAA-B0FB-E4A154A6A388}\client.msi installation failed. Error text: ExitCode: 1603
Action: CcmBootstrapSqlCEDatabases.
ErrorMessages:
Setup was unable to bootstrap Sql CE database InventoryStore.sdf.
The error code is 80004005.
“MSI: Setup was unable to bootstrap Sql CE database InventoryStore.sdf.
The error code is 80004005.”
LocationServices.log
Failed to persist AAD on-boarding info. Error 0x87d00227
Failed verify the signature for issuing root cert list blob '<SMSIssuingCerts version="1.0"><Signature><SignatureAlgorithm
ClientLocation.log – it does connect to the MP with the correct site code
I even tried from an admin command prompt to force it with CCMSETUP.exe specifying the MP and the site code – no success
Any help please
