Having upgraded my ADK, I believe that the old ADK has been left behind.

When using Deployment and Imaging Tools Environment, it calls the correct NEW version of DISM, but when running in a PowerShell window (e.g running a script), if DISM is called, it calls the old version and gives the error - Error: To service this Windows image requires the latest version of the DISM.

Does anyone know how to get around this and force it so that when DISM is called, it always calls the latest version?

And also, would you recommend removing the old ADK? if so, how?

thanks in advance

Paul

I use the following variable at the top of my script to do so:
$env:path = "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Deployment Tools\amd64\DISM"

If there's another way, then interested to know.

Thanks,
