Morning all,

I am investigating why serveral servers did not update and reboot as specified in the deployments action and configured maintenance window.

Servers are in a colleciton with a maintenance Window for 22/09/2020 - 21:00 - 00:00 however it is past that date and software centre states the patch will be installed on a date that isnt speicifed anywhere else on 01/10/2020 - 06:59?

I have the same issue on multiple collections with different maintenance windows.
Client settings are set correctly as far as I know.

And when you manually click Install all it just hangs on "Downloading 0%" for 30 minutes then fails.

Software Distrubution packages have been updated with the latest according to the timestamp

Can you increase the duration of maintenance windows and see if that works ?. Also ensure there are no user sessions on the servers. Otherwise the servers will never reboot. You may deploy a GPO to end all the sessions that are inactive for more than 1 hour or so..

I didn't know about user account being logged in will stop reboot. I thought the default client policy will notify any user logged on that they will be rebooted in X amount of minutes. Regarding maintenance window I ended up removing maintenance window entirely and manually hitting the "install all" button in software centre but the three pending updates sit on "downloading 0%".
