SOLVED Office 365 Upgrade left broken icon on users' Taskbar

Hi all,

Am using PS script and Office Scrubs provided by IT PRO to remove previous MSI based Office. Scripts work great.

However, it left the previous office icons in Taskbar.


I have been searching for a way to remove it with a script but couldnt find any that work.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

No idea @Edy I have done some research and in most cases it is recommended to remove the icons manually from taskbar.
