SOLVED Office 365 Updates DownloadContentFiles() failed with hr=0x800701a0

Greetings
A recent issue has come up with Office 365 patches.
They are stopping at the download of stream.x86.x-none.dat.
The other files get downloaded into the folder but this is where the download fails.


Patchloader log:

Download http://officecdn.microsoft.com/pr/6...e/data/16.0.12527.20442/stream.x86.x-none.dat to C:\Windows\TEMP\CAB5B3A.tmp returns 416 Software Updates Patch Downloader 4/22/2020 10:26:22 AM 11948 (0x2EAC)
ERROR: DownloadContentFiles() failed with hr=0x800701a0 Software Updates Patch Downloader 4/22/2020 10:26:22 AM 12168 (0x2F88)

Same with manual or ADR.
Any suggestions?

Hi , do have any proxy for downloading the updates ?

Check your IE proxy and sccm proxy once.it should be same. I think this could be network related issue.

For what its worth I can download these via browser.

How exactly are you downloading manually? Try download via browser, hence you can check any AV or internet issue.if you would be able to download then fine. If you have any AV , disable and try it.

did you solve this if so how? for me it was enabling http partial response on my fw
