I have a very small environment, I'm running all roles on a single server except Site System Server (Db) which runs on its own metal.
When I right click and choose "More Details" from Administration | Management Insights | All Insights | Proactive Maintenance | Update Microsoft .NET Framework on site systems, I see my Db server listed. When I click Review actions on the Rule Details dialog I am redirected to Assets and Compliance | Overview | Devices | Update Microsoft .NET Framework on site systems. In the right pane my Db server is listed and I notice that here it says Client value is "No" which leads to my question:
Should I install the client on my Db Site System Server? Will that help the Primary site server accurately discover that .NET 4.8 is indeed installed on the Db server (because it is installed) and I'm tired of ignoring warning messages when running updates - I'd like my system to understand itself ;o)
I have read the Blog post on this subject but it didn't mention the client being installed on the Db server.
Thank you in advance
