PENDING MS patches not Synchronizing in SCCM Server with WSUS

Hi Sir,

Please help in how to do reindex susdb in sccm server. we are getting following error. I dont know much sql to do it. any easy way to do it. my patches are not sycronizing in sccm console. I have to deploy may ms patches for servers.

Sync failed: The operation has timed out. Source: Microsoft.UpdateServices.Internal.DatabaseAccess.ApiRemotingCompressionProxy.GetWebResponse

My Build Version is 5.00.8692.1000 (SCCM 1806 )

We had similar issues in our setup too. All we had to do was restart the WSUS service and let the sync happen. Also, some of the IT people were using WSUS to perform updates sync and that needed to be stopped. Syncing updates should happen from SCCM console only and not WSUS. I hope this solution helps.
