PENDING Move SMS_SITE share to another partition

Hi Folks
Is it possible to move the SMS_SITE (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\inboxes\despoolr.box\receive) share to another partition as it keeps filling up the C drive
Just to be clear I'm not talking about the shares that can be moved using the contentlibrarytransfer.exe tool as these are already on the other partition

Any thoughts how this can be done?

Is it just a matter of changing the folder path? Are there any considerations?

I would not do that. It will likely get reset by ConfigMgr on it next health check. It is not best practices to install any major component of ConfigMgr on the c:\. It should always be installed on another drive.

I would either rebuild ConfigMgr using a different drive or increase the size of C:\

Thanks Garth. Unfortunately it was put in place before my time. I will see about rebuilding it as i think it will just continue to grow. Thanks for your time.
