PENDING Migration of old secondary site to new using Side-by-Side migration

Hi guys, I'm planning Side-by-Side migration from SCCM 2012 R2 to 1910 and I was wondering how to migrate old Secondary Site to new SCCM 1910 infrastructure? What is the proper procedure?

You can't migrated it from the CM12 to CMCB. Are you sure that you need a secondary site? Why not have just and DP there?

HI Garth, tnx for your reply. For the sake of this story, what are my options if I don't go with your suggestion ? I've never done this so if you be so kind to explain it.

There is no simple answer you must review your environment and adjust it to the CMCB. Since you can't migrate the secondary, your first question should be do I still need one? Why was it there in the first place?

Guys before me did that infrastructure but they left the firm and leave no documentation.
Since Secondary Site is on other physical location, I can only assume that's why.
So it's okay to be only DP without SS since other office is in different city?

yes it is ok to have a DP in another city.

Gareth, after re-installation of server and installation of new DP, will data that was on previous secondary site DP, get back to new DP with Source Hierarchy Migration task? Or do I have to do it manually?
