How do we transfer PXE from one DP to another DP

We are trying to migrate a Distribution Point which has the PXE server role added to another server(also a DP ) which is in the same subnet. So turn on PXE on the newer server and turn off on the older one, IP Helpers are in place. However the newer PXE does not register and devices cannot pick it up. SMS PXE log shows
PXE: bind() failed for DHCP, ???????????????? , port 67. 0x80072740. Another process (DHCP server or PXE server) is already using the port.
Tried the fix from the web but still no joy. Currently have both servers enabled for PXE but only the older one being picked up.

Solution
Set up the new DP, distribute the required content, add the PXE role, configure your IP helpers to point to the new DP. Update your boundary and boundary group Configuration and associate the new DP. Shutdown the old PXE server and then test the PXE boot on clients. Monitor the network traffic to see which DP are the clients talking to.
The issue we had was that this server had the DHCP role enabled for some reason! Once the role was removed PXE then worked
