SOLVED Migrate (move) MECM 2111 secondary site to new server in parent domain

Hi, I have a server in child domain hosting secondary MECM 2111 site. We are planning to consolidate forest by moving everything in child domain to the parent (root) domain and then decommissioning child domain altogether. Is there a way to migrate existing secondary MECM 2111 site to a new server in parent domain? If so what are the steps and what should be done on MECM 2111 clients which will be migrated to the parent domain?

it is not supported to change domains, you will need to create a new site server.
