Hi Team, I'm faced with the following issue, we deploy patches via SCCM to our workstations, patches are released and made AVAILABLE to workstations, we first deploy to a Pre-Pilot Group, then release to pilot and then all productions workstations, and we have deadlines set accordingly on all these deployments, "some" users are reporting that in the morning when they logon onto there machines, and client checks into SCCM, they got a toast notification advising updates available, even though they already installed the updates? Why would that be, could it be that the machine is still part of an active deployment? Not quite sure why the machine would get these prompts if patches already installed? We need to come up with a good explanation to management, so any useful links advise would be greatly appreciated.

if you are deployed the patches as "available" in software center, the users will see updates are available. Open the software center and check if all the updates are installed. I guess there are some new updates on those machines which are not installed.

I faced the same "issue" few month ago. It were because the machine failed to install updates. SCCM was asking for a reboot and after that reboot updates were stil available in Software Center.

thanks Prajwal, appreciate your time, I noticed that there was still some available applications to install, so I suspect this could be the issue.
