NEW Management Point Failing

I have removed roles from the server for MP and reinstalled and made sure any traces of ccmsetup are removed by running a script but still no luck. Tried to stop/start the sms-control-mananger in service manager but getting an error "error communicating with component". Can anyone where there is a problem?

Site status shows error.

Check if you have added Site System installation account or Computer account in Administrators group of the MP server.
Also please check if the required Port between MECM server and MP are enabled:

I was able to resolve this issue. The issue was cert, changed to use HTTPS/HTTP and uncheck require SSL. It worked.
