Hi, I have a very strange problem. I have multiple collections for servers and workstations at different sites. Most of my clients are not communicating with my SCCM server. I dont think it is a specific client issues as it is about 70% of my clients. My ccmmessaging log on one of the problem clients has the errors as per below

By default, the client requests a new policy every 60 min, sends a heartbeat DDR every 7 days, and reports hw/sw inventory every 7 days. On the client computer check the following log files (%windir%\ccm\logs):

- Inventory log: should have information about heartbeat DDR, hw/sw inventory)

- PolicyEvaluator.log should give you information when a new policy has been applied or you see that no changes are necessary

check this link for more troubleshooting - http://blogs.technet.com/b/configur...g-issues-where-clients-are-not-reporting.aspx

HI Prajwal,

I dont have an Inventory.log file. I have a InventoryAgent.log file and this only has this error: Inventory: 1 Collection Task(s) failed. the date is the last time there was comms to SCCM and matches the date on the console when I look at the last Policy Request date and time

The PolicyEvaluator.log has no errors.
