Hi,

We have recently started having issues with my SCCM (1910) server (running Windows 2016) reporting on the compliance of clients with Windows Updates.

Our setup is a single site system managing approximately 40 VM's within a sandbox environment (i.e. no internet) so is quite small. Clients not reporting back for the required/installed Software Updates.

During the last week when we went to perform routine patching of the system, we had an issue where "Synchronize Software Updates" would fail with 0x80131500 Synchronization error code. Essentially this was resolved with a reinstallation of the WSUS role on a different server and re-configuration of the Software Update Point on the SCCM server. Synchronization is now successful and we can see the latest WSUS patches from within SCCM.

Since this re-install of WSUS and SUP role, the Clients are no longer reporting back after 48 hours their required or installed updates when a summarization is performed. The Configuration Manager clients have been re-installed to no avail as well.

Any advice on what could be the issue here or where to look?

Regards,
Jeff
