Hello all! I am running into a problem and couldn't quite determine the cause. The scenario I'm in is that I'm trying to run a script locally on a workstation to update the applications & updates tab in software center. I have tried every trigger method through Powershell and get success messages in the Powershell console and the applications tab updates in Software with all available software. However, the Updates tab in SC does not update with available software updates. However, if I open the client settings through Control Panel and manually run the Software Update actions, the updates roll in and show as available in Software Center. Am I missing something. The function I am calling is below:

function InvokeSccmActions
{

# Application Deployment Evaluation Cycle
Invoke-WMIMethod -Namespace root\ccm -Class SMS_CLIENT -Name TriggerSchedule "{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000121}"
# Discovery Data Collection Cycle

Why are you triggering everything, most will NOT help your SW center issue? e.g. why SW inv?
What do the logs say is happening? How are you running this script?
