Hi Prajwal,
I am working on a InterForest migration Project and my concern is that, during the migration of user, I have to merge the users Source account with Destination user accounts, in that case destination user account is having different logon name than source user account name (e.g. - Source - CSandeep, Destination - KSandeep). So post successful user account migration,
1 - All users are going to login in to the computers/Laptops with their existing local system profile or it will be changed to new logon name (Existing - CSandeep, New - KSandeep), if suppose that happens then I will have to move users all data in to new local system profile.
2 - Or Existing local system profile will be renamed (Existing - CSandeep which will be renamed to KSandeep) with new logon name, which I don't think that it is a true statement.
Source Forest Functional Level - Windows Server 2003
Destination Forest Functional Level - Windows Server 2008
Source Root Server Operating System - Windows Server 2008
Destination Root Server Operating System - Windows Server 2012 R2
Please provide your input that which statement is going to be true in this case.
