I'm sure all of us have used the Actions and Components tabs of the ConfigMgr Control Panel applet to help determine when the client has completely initialized and I have a pretty good understanding of all the logs in the Windows\CCM\logs folder and the ones I use to determine when the client has completely initialized but I was curious what others use or if there was one log in particular and one entry in that log to look for, that tells you everything is ready to go.

Define ready to go. Does this mean Inventory has completed? What exactly is your end goal?

Obviously the Hardware Inventory Agent is one of many components of the client and even before the hardware Inventory can even begin to start, it has to be Enabled (Component Status) so to answer the first question, not looking for the completion of the agent process, which might be a long the lines of client health, but just curious if you use any one particular log to tell you every component has been Installed/Enabled. To answer your second question of end goal? Retire in the next couple of years?
