PENDING How to get the distribution point back after moving content library to SAN share

Hi, everything was working fine. However, the storage of the content library was getting short. I googled for solutions and came across moving the content to a SAN Share using the "Manage Content Library" option. After getting into maintenance mode, I had to remove the DP role first to perform the operation. All went well; however, I lost the PXE option as there was no DP now. I later realised that my site is now in a passive mode.
How can I undo this whole step to have my DP back?
Or can I have a DP role somewhere else, like on the existing WDS VM I used earlier for applying images?
