I have setup one test computer with Windows 7 ESU and confirmed the license is applied by seeing results from slmgr /dlv. I did this last week and ran hardware inventory cycle thinking the new license key would be recognized by MECM so it would be ready for extended support patches today. Looking at my September patch deployment, I still see Windows 7 patched 0 required when I expected 1. How do I get MECM to recognize that a machine with ESU license needs patched?

I have KB's 4474419, 4490628, 4538483, and 4562030 installed. I was able to install the MAK key and activate the computer for ESU. Slmgr shows "Client-ESU-Year1 add-on" and "License Status: Licensed".

I manually downloaded KB4537813 and installed it successfully. I tried the same on another computer not licensed for ESU and it failed, so I believe I have the ESU license applied correctly.

The problem appears to be SCCM not providing Windows 7 updates beyond January 2020. It seems it's not recognizing the ESU activation. Does anything in client settings need to be adjusted to inventory the activation key?
