SOLVED GetDPLocations failed with error 0x80004005

Hi Prajwal,

I followed the steps you mentioned in SCCM 2012 R2 Step by Step but when I using client push or manual installation of client I am getting below error. Tried removing DP role and installing it again bt not helping. Please help on this. Attaching the log file.

@chandrakant - Have you configured the firewall settings required for SCCM ? - http://prajwaldesai.com/configuring-firewall-settings-for-configuration-manager-2012-r2/

Failed to find DP locations from MP 'WIN-F9DN2BL4Q4M.chandru.com' with error 0x80004005 - It looks like the client cannot talk to the MP to get the DP location to be able to download the files.

Hi Prajwal,

Issue is resolved. You can close the thread. Issue was with IIS 7.5 permission (Failed to receive ccm message response. Status code = 404). After giving full access to account it started working.
