Hi to all
I have a customer who wants to delete a domain and does not know what services it provides, nor does he know which windows clients (servers) are consuming those services.
He has another domain B from another forest and he will only keep that domain
Based on the roles, can I know what services the domain controller delivers and how do I confirm which servers consume them?
What would it be any consideration to keep in mind to recollect this information.

There is no way around it, you will need to inspect each server to see what is one it and if anyone is using those services.

For a whole inspection I will probably need tools, scripts, check logs.
Any advice on how do I have to check this challenge

Without knowing what is there it is almost impossible to answer this question. I would look at each server one by one and when I'm happy turn them off for a month.
