SOLVED First time Transferring FSMO Roles

I am getting ready to transfer FSMO roles for the first time from server 2008 to Server 2016. Is there anything that I should have concerns about before I do this. I have read several blogs and all say that this should be a non-event. In my experience, nothing is ever a non-event. Any input about this would be helpful.
