Hi,

I have an sccm application that installs for Firefox esr 78.13 MSI. The application installs correctly and updates previous versions of Firefox, however I am having no luck getting the detection method to work. The application shows ax failed even though it is installed. I think this because Firefox does not have an msi guid in the registry.
I have used the file version greater then or equal to detection method previously with good success but this also fails with Firefox. This method works for chrome, Adobe, 7-zip and other applications so not sure why it doesn’t with Firefox?
A google search shows this is a common problem.
Do you have any suggestions or a good script method you can recommend to detect when an application is installed?

The detection method that you are currently using works fine. Did you check if the version that you have entered in detection method is correct ?. When you modify the detection method did you update the content to DP ?.

Try using the below detection method and let me know if it works.
