PENDING Failed Upgrade SCCM 2006 - 2111

Hi,

Attempting to upgrade from 2006 to 2111.

4.8 framework installed as per https://www.prajwaldesai.com/sccm-2111-upgrade-guide/

Pre-req passes but the install fails on "Install Files"

Can you upload the screenshot and entire log file. The update installation could be failing due to other reasons too. If you don't like to post the screenshots and logs here, you can send me via contact form.

Hi,

Upgrade has finally taken, looks like Sophos was the problem.

After disabling it the upgrade went through with no problems.

I did check the permissions to the directory and file you mentioned and there were no changes made.

Directoy in question:
\\?\d:\microsoft configuration manager\osd\bin\x64\ccmcore.dll. LastError=0
