WinPE is launching and accessing smsts.log but failing when trying to start task sequence. Log entries listed below.

what does the smspxe log say?

Usually when there is no policy and you have only deployed TS to the Unknown Computer collection, then the computer is known, which means it is already in sccm. Not always but many times.

It appears that the WinPE client cannot connect to the Management Point. Please verify that the IIS on your MP machine is running and that no firewall is preventing the connection. Check that the MP virtual endpoint is present. Check the MP health status. If in HTTPS model, may we know if you have deployed the Client Certificate to the PXE-enabled Distribution Points? Have you checked Mpcontrol.log on the MP server and Smspxe.log?

I can find no SMSPXE log on client or server.

I found the unknown computer in the list, deleted the computer and restarted the PXE Boot sequence. It got to the point below and then the workstation restarted.

We do have HTTPS but no client certificates. have looked through mpcontrol.log and client side appears to be working. I can not find the smspxe.log...
