Hi Everyone,
I find this error "Failed to get MDM_ConfigSetting instance, 0x80041013" (red marked)in different logs.
First, in the ccmsetup.log, after running ccmrepair.
Even the final message in the log is "CCmSetup is exiting with return code 0"
It looks like since the last upgrade from SCCM to the newest version 2309 all the clients have huge problems communicating back to the MP. I cannot install anymore any kind of applications or Windows updates.
I checked port 135, wbemtest, connect to client, and enum classes is OK
I find
Failed to get MDM_ConfigSetting instance, 0x80041013
and
Could not retrieve value for MDM_ConfigSetting instance, 0x80041013
also in:
CcmNotificationAgent.log
StatusAgent.log
I checked also the following logs, with no errors found:
LocationServices.log is OK
ClientLocation.log is OK
ScanAgent.log is OK
StateMessage.log is OK
WUAHandler.log is OK

In InventoryProvider.log I find the following error:
GetPropertyListForClassName - Failed to get class 'DatabaseProperties' from WMI namespace. Error 0x80041002

In DcmWmiProvider.log I find the following errors:
Failed to retrieve WMI object[CCM_WqlQuery_Setting_Synclet.ID='CCM_WqlQuery_Setting_StringArray'].May be invalid pathNot found (Error: 80041002; Source WMI)
Failed in discovering instance Not found (Error: 80041002; Source WMI)
Failed to do HandleCreateInstanceEnumaAsync(). Not found (Error: 80041002; Source WMI)
Failed to process CWqlQueryProvider::CreateInstanceEnumeAsync(). Not found (Error: 80041002; Source WMI)
Failed to retrieve WMI object[CCM_Script_Setting_Synclet.ID='CCM_Script_Setting_Double']. May be invalid pathNot found (Error: 80041002; Source WMI)
Failed in discovering instance. Not found (Error: 80041002; Source WMI)

In CIStore.log I find the following errors:
Failed to open CcmStore database. Error 0x887d00202
CCIObject::GetCategories failed, error (0x887d00202)
CCIObject::GetProperty failed, error (0x887d00202)
GetInstanceFromLantern failed (0x80041002).

Please help.
Thanks in advance,
Justin

Listing all the Error message is not helpful you need them listed within context. as an error might not actually be an error and might be expected.
Exactly what problem are you trying to solve.

Hi Garth,
"It looks like since the last upgrade from SCCM to the newest version 2309 all the clients have huge problems communicating back to the MP. I cannot install anymore any kind of applications or Windows updates."
I mean, if I check Monitoring > Deployments, the Status is "Client check passed/Active", for all the deployments.
Everything worked OK for 2 years.
Thank you in advance,
Justin

Have the exact same error on my SCCM version 2409. Been troubleshooting for weeks with no results. Every find a solution for this?

Experiencing the same symptoms as reported by OP. Seems to have come about after performing upgrade from 2309 to 2409, including rollup kb30385346.
