Hello Guys,

please i need from you to provide me a way to create custom report in SCCM 2012 to extract an Accurate Inventory for all Computers but per each Device Collection .

if you have it please share it with me .

i found a good one but it viewed some Computers not all Computers ; although 90 % from Computers are Active and healthy .
how can i know the root cause of this issue and how can i solve it please ?

appreciate your help please .

thanks Prajwal for your reply ; firstly my current version if SCCM is 1511 .
i found there is a problem generally with the HW inventory as it doesn't get all selected classes which is already existing in the HW classes of the client policy.
you can check the attached images which explain more what i say .
i opened a case with MS and they told me that there is a known issue with HW inventory with my current version 1511.
then he advised to upgrade to a higher version like 1610 to solve this issue .

but i have two problems now :
1- i'm afraid it this problem not solved after the upgrade occurred
2- there is 1610 in my console and it is stuck in checking prerequisites .

please advise if you have any info to solve this issue

Did you ask the MS engineer on what was the issue with HW ?. Anyways if you have decided to upgrade to 1606, it's good. Regarding the pre-req stuck, check ConfigMgrPrereq.log file located on c drive for pre-req installation status.

thanks Prajwal for your reply , actually i solved the problem of the prerequisites and after finished this steps i faced the attached warning with all primary sites.
[Warning]:Verifies that the site server is processing critical inboxes in a timely fashion, and that inboxes do not contain files older than one day.

how can i solve it please ?

it's a warning so don't worry about that. You could also delete the contents under <sccm installation folder>\inboxes\auth\ddm.box\ and proceed with the install.

i think i should delete the old ones , right ?
but what should i delete exactly please ? should i delete all contents of the above mentioned path or delete a files only.
because i found some frequent folder inside each other and don't know the contents which i should delete fearing of cause any problem

Could you first try installing the update without deleting anything from there ?. Let me know how the installation goes.

two questions please ?

1- this update may a cause a network traffic if it start it in the mid of working hours ?

2- the expected time of upgrade to be finished on all Primary site ?

Hi Prajwal,
after i started in the upgrade i noticed two things :
1- some features aren't existing during installing the Update of 1610 , see the print screen please
2- after passed the above step the installation stuck . i think because the computer name hasn't permission on cmupdate.box folder

then go to update and servicing and found the retry installation is exist .

what can i do please ?

please advise
