Hi to All

My SCCM Primary server got this warning inthe event viewer with event ID 63 and source WMI:

"A provider, SMSDPProvider, has been registered in the Windows Management Instrumentation namespace root\SCCMDP to use the LocalSystem account. This account is privileged and the provider may cause a security violation if it does not correctly impersonate user requests."

Currently, no SCCM agent client connects to the SCCM and if I re install the sccm agent it doesn't work.

Which would recommendations be to fix it?

Thanks in advanced

Manuel

I know this is an old post but has anyone fixed this issue? I am seeing this warning on 2012 R2 server with MECM 2107.

These warning messages are expected. They occur because Configuration Manager is not included in the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) exclusion list of providers that can run under the local system account at the time of installation.

Thank you for the explanation!
