I am running CM 2303 with Reporting Services role. A few months ago I had this same exact issue, and solved it by following this guide to edit settings via the wbemtest utility:

Everything worked again for a couple months. No major changes of any kind were made. This week the same exact issue has returned, but the RBAC settings in the registry remain the same from the previous correction and haven't changed, so maybe that was just a fluke.

Any report I run I receive:
  • An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
    • Cannot impersonate user for data source 'AutoGen__<Different Sources Here for Each Report>_'. (rsErrorImpersonatingUser)
      • Log on failed. Ensure the user name and password are correct. (rsLogonFailed)
        • Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
I have checked the domain service account that Reporting Services uses, and it is working and not locked out, password remains unchanged.
An Execution Account has never been configured\specified, this remained unchecked\unused.

Exactly what account is running SSRS service? Is it a domain account?

Both SQL Server service and SSRS are running with domain\MSSQL_SVC account that was created before my time.
Are you sure that is a domain account and no a local virtual account? I always you a real account for SSRS and not a virtual account.
