SOLVED Domain is not joined in SCCM OSD

Hi All,

I am implementing OSD in VMware. After completing OSD process it is not joining the domain. Please find the snippet of OSDNetSetting.exe part which is used to join the domain. I have attached full log file as well.



PS :- Network adapter driver for vmware has been injected into boot image.

Could you guys please help me to sort it out.

Have you set the computer to join to a default OU "Computers". ?

Yes, here is the snippet.

when I checked the netSetup.log file, it says that default OU ‘Computer’ is not supported as shown in below snippet.



New OU is created in AD and it has been mapped in task sequence to sort this issue out.

Exactly. Avoid choosing the default OU and choose a different OU while joining the client machine to the domain. Thanks for the update, this thread is marked as Solved.
