Any help appreciated.

Since Installing the 2207 Hotfix Rollup (KB15152495) none of our distribution points are working.

Rights haven't changed and have been double checked and they are all okay.
Been looking at the distmgr.log and trying lots of things but nothing has worked yet.

Thanks

Apart from that error, what else is not working. I mean is the content not distributing, are there any errors while downloading the content from DP etc..?

Hi,
No content is distributing to any of our DPs.
I'm getting 'Failed to process package' errors, 'DP thread ID .. failed to process DP action' errors

Thanks

I see the error 0x80070005 (access denied) in the distribution log whereas in the pkgxfermgr.log there are no errors during content distribution. Can you remove the DP role and install it back?. I guess that should resolve the issue.

I have tried that on one of them already but I will give it a go on a different one to see if resolves it, thanks for your help.

Also seeing this after installing KB15152495

SMS_Distribution_Manager error message ID's 2302 & 2370 on primary site server with all DP's.

Have tried removing/re-adding existing DP's, ruled out permissions/network/fw/av/etc. Opening ticket with MS

After many days on with MS support, they provided us a work around to use an AD User account instead of the site server computer account, as the 'site system installation account'. The AD user account needs to be member of mecm 'full admin' group - as well as in localadmin group of all your sccm servers.

As soon as we got the account in there and rebooted the DP's content started distributing again. Microsoft told us they are seeing this issue a lot, and are still working on a fix.

Did run the opt-in script to install v2211 early, but that did not fix either.

If you choose "Use another account for installing this site system", make this account as part of local administrator group of the DP server machine otherwise add your site server computer account to local administrator group:
