Hi,
Environment set-up:
Main Site Server and DP - was the sole Configuration Manager server in the domain.
1 x new DP built and added in to the environment.

I am hoping someone can shed some light on the following 'issue' we are seeing with the newly deployed Distribution Point.
The replication of / copying of 'Applications' from the site server/DP to the newly deployed DP is not actually copying the Application content/files across. They are not visible on the new DP.
Packages, OS images, Driver Packages etc. copy over fine and can be located in Windows Explorer.

Where should the Application content files be located on the DP? It is not clear from guides read so far as to the process for applications.

How would application deployment be handled from the DP to endpoints if the files are not actually on the DP itself?

Log files (distmgr and PkgXferMgr) do not show any errors..

Thanks,

Darren

When you distribute the application, did you go to monitoring > content status and check if the content is distributed ?. Green circle indicates the content has been distributed successfully, yellow indicates content distribution in progress and red color indicates error.

Regarding where and how configuration manager stores the content, you need to read this article on content library - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/plan-design/hierarchy/the-content-library
