PENDING Disappearing SCCM Deployment Packages

Lately, I've been experiencing creating a software deployment package for Windows Updates and then the next day, the package is gone. Therefore, updates are not installing on my machines. I save the deployment packages to a separate data drive on my SCCM server each time I create them. What could possibly be happening? I have to re-create the deployment each time which is a pain!

Is this an issue with just software deployment packages ?. What about other apps and packages, do they also disappear from the console. You must perform some initial troubleshooting as to what is happening to those packages.
